https://journal.ppicurug.ac.id/index.php/aboj/article/view/1285

Aeronautical Information Services (AIS) is a service responsible for ensuring the safety, regulation, and efficient air navigation through providing information and data related to aviation. Aeronautical Information Services (AIS) is a service established within a specific geographical area responsible for providing flight information and data. Therefore, it requires supporting facilities to provide high-quality information to support airline operations. In this journal, a qualitative approach with descriptive data is employed. Data collection is done through direct observation (direct observation) as an insider directly conducts On-the-Job Training at the AIS in the Denpasar Region.
Binda Husnun Hanifah Agisya Hanifah Agisya, Elfi Amir, Dini Wagini

https://journal.ppicurug.ac.id/index.php/aboj/article/view/1297

NOTAM is a notice disseminated by telecommunication that contains information about the establishment, condition, or change of facilities, services, procedures, or flight hazards, which must be known in a timely manner by personnel related to flight operations, at the airport itself NOTAM is issued by the NOTAM Office through the Regional Aeronautical Information Service. The research method used is a qualitative research method in which the researcher studies how the group works in actual conditions through observation and interviews. There are various types of information published through NOTAM, one of which is information about airspace or Airspcae. The verification process is included in the registration process, the process of which is regulated in SOP 02 (procedure for registration and verification of requests for changes to the addition of aeronautical information in the PIA region). When verifying NOTAM applications related to airspace or Airspace Reservation, there is no mechanism for verifying the suitability of location coordinates. Therefore, it is important to include technical guidance related to verification of location coordinates.
Darma Manggala, Elfi Amir, Syahril Sidik

https://journal.ppicurug.ac.id/index.php/aboj/article/view/1301

Post-flight information is information regarding the condition of the aircraft, information on the next flight, accident or loss reports (if any) which can be used for analysis, learning and decision making, which is reported after flight operations. The research method used is a qualitative research method where the researcher conducts a study of group culture in natural conditions through observation and interviews. Post-flight information plays an important role because it contains information needed for flight safety.
Ilona Gisela Br.Sibarani, Elfi Amir, Endang Sugih Arti

https://journal.ppicurug.ac.id/index.php/aboj/article/view/1305

This research was conducted at the Denpasar Region Aeronautical Information Service Unit during the On the Job Training (OJT) program with the aim of analyzing the process of submitting changes to Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP) data and the obstacles faced. the research method used is descriptive qualitative and observation. The results of the study revealed obstacles related to the completeness and format of the data submitted by the data source, as happened in the case at UPBU Airport under the Denpasar area. These obstacles cause obstruction in the publication process. To overcome this problem, the author recommends the implementation of socialization of AIP submission procedures, LOCA document updates, and additional AIS personnel to improve the efficiency of the publication process.
Naufal Rashifaldo, Elfi Amir, Togi Adnan Maruli Sinaga

https://journal.ppicurug.ac.id/index.php/aboj/article/view/1306

NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) is an important part of aviation safety because it provides important information to pilots and flight operators about conditions, changes and closures of aviation facilities that can affect flight safety. The research method used is a qualitative research method where the researcher conducts a study of group culture in natural conditions through observation and interviews. Therefore, the role of Independent Quality Control is important to avoid NOTAM non-conformities occurring again. To improve the quality of AIS products, especially NOTAMs in AIS Jakarta Region, the role of independent Quality Control to prevent recurrence of NOTAM non-conformities is very important.
Denisyha Anindhita Syavitri, KyKy Rohmah, Faizal Muzaki

https://journal.ppicurug.ac.id/index.php/aboj/article/view/1298

Inconsistencies in AIP documents can lead to confusion for users of aeronautical information. This study examines the discrepancy in Taxiway G strength data at Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II International Airport, Palembang, as recorded in AIP VOL II WIPP AD 2.8 Aprons, Taxiways And Check Locations/Positions Data compared to WIPP AD 2.24-1 Aerodrome Chart – ICAO and WIPP AD 2.24-2 Aircraft Parking/Docking Chart – ICAO. In WIPP AD 2.8, the strength of Taxiway G is listed as PCN 39/F/C/X/T, while in WIPP AD 2.24-1 and WIPP AD 2.24-2, it is listed as PCN 39/F/C/W/T. The study aims to identify the source of the inconsistency, evaluate its impact on the efficiency of data dissemination, and provide recommendations to improve the validity of aeronautical publications. The findings indicate that the inconsistency stems from discrepancies in data during the document compilation process. The recommendations include improving coordination procedures among personnel and adjusting Quality Control oversight to ensure data consistency.

Keywords: AIP, Taxiway, PCN, information consistency, Quality Control
Ammaida Assaliky, Andhika Eka Putra, Novita Ayu Permatasari

https://journal.ppicurug.ac.id/index.php/aboj/article/view/1118

This systematic literature review investigates the essential role of air traffic controllers (ATCs) in guiding air traffic and ensuring the safety and efficiency of aviation operations. The review synthesizes findings from various studies to elucidate the critical responsibilities of ATCs, such as maintaining situational awareness, managing airspace, and making prompt decisions in high-stress environments. Additionally, it explores the concept of authentic leadership within the air traffic control context, identifying how leadership qualities and practices influence operational success and team dynamics. Key traits of authentic leadership, including transparency, ethical behavior, and relational focus, are examined for their impact on communication, error reduction, and the cultivation of a safety-centric culture. The review emphasizes the importance of continuous professional development for ATCs to keep pace with technological advancements and increasingly complex airspace management demands. By integrating theoretical perspectives with practical insights, this review provides a comprehensive understanding of how authentic leadership can enhance the performance of air traffic control operations. The findings offer valuable recommendations for improving leadership practices and air traffic management systems, ultimately contributing to safer and more efficient aviation industry operations.
Gery Arnetto Hasiholan Panjaitan, Dhian Supardam
