Weather is an essential element in aviation operations. Changes in atmospheric conditions such as reduced visibility, strong wind, and heavy rain can directly influence the decision-making process of Air Traffic Controllers (ATC). This literature review compiles several studies published by the Indonesian Aviation Polytechnic Curug that examine the relationship between weather conditions and ATC performance. The discussion is presented in a narrative form to highlight how weather affects controller workload, coordination, equipment reliability, and the overall effectiveness of ATC services. The reviewed studies show that adverse weather can slow coordination, disrupt navigation systems, and increase operational risks. These findings emphasize the importance of reliable meteorological equipment and well-integrated communication systems to support safe and efficient air traffic operations.
