ANALISIS EQUIPMENT STORAGE AREA GUNA MENINGKATKAN KESELAMATAN PERGERAKAN GROUND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT (GSE) DI BANDAR UDARA EL TARI KUPANG
Abstract
The problem found at El Tari Kupang Airport is related to the storage of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) in the equipment storage area. Observations show that there are no clear markings to mark the GSE storage area and there is no Letter of Coordination Agreement (LOCA) that regulates the storage or retrieval of GSE. This irregularity in GSE placement can lead to accidents or incidents. This research used a descriptive qualitative method through observation, documentation, and interviews to understand the problem and find a solution. As a result, it is recommended to make storage markings that fit the size and rules, as well as the creation of LOCA between the airport and ground handling to improve service quality and safety.
